Part of the problem with Irish mortgage market is the banks inability to repossess a house when the mortgage is not paid for years and when an attempt is made to take the house back the whole town camps in The garden to stop it.as someone who pays mortgage on time every time it seems ludicrous that a house can not be taken aback and resold .I understand our history with houses but it is ridiculous to use this as a reason to allow someone to stay in a house and not pay for it.
