Your paragraph on CBDCs may overlook the fight the high street banks will put up against CBDCs. They will not want to be disintermediated. I think the big question here is when do the central banks step in and start issuing public warnings that bitcoin/crypto is a speculative investment, and is not a safe place for savings/retirement funds etc.
